Congratulations Dr Tee E. Siong — Tokoh Warga Emas Kebangsaan 2025

The Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr Tee E. Siong, our esteemed immediate past President, on being awarded Tokoh Warga Emas Kebangsaan 2025.

This prestigious recognition reflects Dr Tee’s lifelong dedication to advancing nutrition, health, and community service across Malaysia. Throughout his career, he has contributed not only at the national policy level, but also within communities, promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting vulnerable groups including women, children, and the elderly.

Under his leadership, NSM has grown in influence and expanded its reach in public health nutrition. His guidance and commitment continue to inspire us, and this honour is well deserved. We are proud to have had him guide the society, and we look forward to his ongoing contributions in the field of nutrition in the country.

Apply for dsm-firmenich's Nutrition Research Grant now!

dsm-firmenich is pleased to share that we have launched the second round of our Nutrition Research Grant as part of our commitment to advance scientific research in human nutrition. The grant aims to support innovative nutrition research relevant to the diet and health of consumers in the Asia Pacific region, and foster collaborative efforts between dsm-firmenich and research institutions to drive impactful discoveries and interventions.

Grant Details:

  • Funding: Up to €50,000 per project, to be completed within 18 months
  • Eligibility: Open to academic institutions and research organizations in the Asia Pacific region
  • First-round application period: August 18 - November 14, 2025
