In view that the Nutrition Society of Malaysia shall be hosting the 9th Asia-Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrition (APCCN) in Kuala Lumpur in 2015, NSM Council has decided to partially sponsor the participation of several NSM members to attend the 8th APCCN in
Tokyo. The amount of this special subsidy shall be decided by the NSM Council, but shall be at least RM1000 for each successful applicant, more than the usual seminar grant provided by NSM.

The Malaysian Dietary Guidelines 2010 was launched on 25 March 2010, in conjunction with the 25th Scientific Conference of the Nutrition Society of Malaysia. »
The proposed Allied Health Professional Act (AHP) Act is to ensure that Nutrition Science is practised by appropriately qualified professionals. Only graduates from university programmes that provide adequate training to enable them to carry out the required roles shall be recognised for registration as a Nutritionist under the proposed AHP. »
